SUMMARY:POSTPONED - Hedge Planting
DESCRIPTION:Whether you have green fingers or not\, tree planting is something everyone can have a go at. We have plenty of people on hand to help out\, and 150 saplings to plant to form the school’s brand new native\, mixed-species hedgerow which will be both a screen from the road and a teaching tool for children. We will also be helping to re-erect the teepees after they came down in the recent winds\, and to weave in the willow hedge. If you have gloves or spades please do bring them along.

Booking is required – see the FOSSA shop.  \n\n\n\nYou’ll be guided through the step-by-step process of creating a beautiful wreath using willow as a base\, and a variety of seasonal foliage\, flowers\, and decorations. Don’t worry if you’re a beginner – there will be plenty of experienced help on hand to offer tips and advice as you create a stunning piece that you’ll be proud to hang on your door. \n\n\n\nWe’ll provide all the materials you need\, and to keep you fuelled throughout the workshop\, sip on some artisanal Harth hot chocolate or mulled wine while enjoying some festive treats. \n\n\n\nAt the end of the workshop\, take home your one-of-a-kind wreath to display proudly on your front door or give as a thoughtful and unique gift to a loved one. Plus\, you’ll leave with the knowledge and skills to create your own wreaths for years to come! \n\n\n\nWe can’t wait to see the beautiful creations you’ll come up with.

DESCRIPTION:Join us for an autumn gardening afternoon at the school. Jobs to undertake include hedge cutting\, willow hedge weaving\, weeding and more. There is plenty to do so the more the merrier! Children are very welcome too.  \n\n\n\nLast spring we did a gardening day at school and the children had a great time playing with everything from the Opal Play shed while parents enjoyed catching up over some pruning or willow weaving\, and plenty of cake was shared too.  \n\n\n\nIf you have gardening gloves or any tools you can bring then that would be helpful.

This is a chance for everyone to catch up and see each other after the summer\, and to meet new families at the school.  \n\n\n\nThere will also be some sports day events following the cancelled summer sports days so bring your trainers for the parents’ race!  \n\n\n\nBBQ food will be available to book in advance of the event which really helps us with our ordering. DESCRIPTION:Save the date – we will be running a second hand uniform sale on 29 June at the end of the school day so that parents can buy items ahead of the Autumn term.  \n\n\n\nIf you need uniform before this date please let us know! We have a number of summer uniform and PE items along with normal uniform. All items are £1 each\, and all funds go towards FOSSA\, and ultimately to the school.  \n\n\n\nWe are always accepting second hand uniform donations.
