A big thank you to all of the parents and teachers who stayed to help at the Easter disco last night – the children had a great time and the extra hands really do make a big difference.
A special thank you to Ben Wilson who kindly ran the disco for us – he knew exactly which songs would get our KS2 students up and dancing and we loved seeing them light up the dancefloor with moves they learnt through the recent Dance Umbrella!
We ran a last-minute uniform sale in the tuck room which gave parents the opportunity to have a quick look through and to pick up some pieces for the summer term. This worked well so we’ll try to do this more often at events so you all have more opportunities to grab bits when you need them rather than only at formal sales once or twice a year.
FOSSA also presented Mrs Noall with a gift from parents yesterday thanks to the kind donations you made to our collection for her. We gave her some flowers and a family annual membership to The Newt in Somerset which she was thrilled with – she asked us to pass her thanks on to you all. We wish Mrs Noall the very best for her new position with Peasedown Primary and hope she’ll come back and visit us over the summer.
