FOSSA Extraordinary General Meeting – Thursday 5 March 2026
We would like to invite all parents, carers, staff, and friends of the school to attend our upcoming FOSSA Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM).

This meeting is an important one for the future of FOSSA, and we would love as many members of our school community as possible to attend, share their views, ideas and skills. All in aid of supporting the continued success of the PTA.
Why Are We Holding an EGM?
The purpose of this meeting is to formally vote in key committee roles of Chair and Secretary. These roles are essential to ensuring FOSSA can continue to operate effectively, organise events, and support the school community.
Anna Lynch is currently serving as Secretary supporting the PTA. Anna is very happy to continue her involvement and has offered to step into the role of Chair, which is currently needed by the committee. If Anna is voted into this position, it will create a vacancy for Secretary. Should anyone be interested in standing for this role, please be reassured that full support and a thorough handover will be provided.
Getting Involved With FOSSA
We completely understand that life is busy, and joining a committee can sometimes feel like a big commitment. However, involvement with FOSSA can take many different forms, and every contribution — big or small — makes a real difference.
Whether you are interested in taking on a committee role, helping organise events, volunteering occasionally, or simply sharing ideas, you would be warmly welcomed. FOSSA thrives because of the support, enthusiasm, and creativity of our school community.
Why FOSSA Matters
FOSSA plays a vital role in bringing together school staff, families, and the wider local community. Through fundraising, social events, and community activities, FOSSA helps create enriching experiences and opportunities for our children that go beyond the classroom.
In an increasingly busy and digital world, opportunities for families to connect, socialise, and create lasting memories together are more important than ever. FOSSA events help foster these connections while directly benefiting the school and enhancing children’s educational experiences.
